Portable Appliance Testing25% of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable appliances. Therefore, all portable appliances over 12 months old should be PAT tested every year. This particularly applies where the appliances are to be used by others i.e. employees, tenants, customers and students/pupils. |

Periodic Electrical Inspection and TestsA periodic electrical inspection is an inspection on the condition of an existing electrical installation. This is particularly important when a property is to be let, or prior to its sale or purchase. It is recommended at least every 10 years for a domestic installation and 5 years for a commercial or domestic let property. |

Landlord's Electrical Safety CertificatesBy law, all Landlords must ensure that the electrical wiring and electrical appliances supplied as part of the let are safe to use. We are qualified to carry out the necessary tests i.e. Periodic Electrical Inspection Reports and PAT testing (see above) and produce the paperwork to meet these requirements.
